Drafting Pencil
Drafting pencil is a type of mehanical pencil used for technical drafting.
The difference of drafting pencil with mechanical pencil is that it has
longer guide pipe(around 3-5 mm) in comparasion to guide pipe of
mechanical pencils (around 2mm or no visible guide pipe).
* Guide pipe is the metal pipe at the top of the taper where lead comes out.
It allows to glide better along a ruler or template.
Besides, drafting pencils are available in many different lead sizes,
usually 0.3mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.7mm and 0.9mm.
In mechanical pencils, available lead sizes are, usually 0.5mm and 0.7mm only.
SUPER PROMECHA and PROMECHA series of OHTO drafting pencil have
additional functions of lead release adjustment and guide pipe adjustment.
